Soccer Recap: Watauga Comes Up Short

Watauga and Myers Park squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Watauga had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 9-0. Sammy Morgan was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Watauga's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Myers Park, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-7-2.

Watauga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Myers Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Page at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Page will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Myers Park surely won't give up without a fight.
