Soccer Recap: Loyola Academy Takes a Loss

Loyola Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maine West Warriors. That's two games in a row now that Loyola Academy have lost by exactly two goals.

Loyola Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Maine West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-2.

Looking ahead, Loyola Academy is taking a road trip to take on Marmion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marmion's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Maine West, they will welcome Maine East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
