Deming was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Maiyah Molina did her best to prevent it. Molina was dynamite, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Molina and Deming will take on Bernalillo in a tournament on Saturday.
