Soccer Game Preview: Los Altos vs. Sonora

The Los Altos Conquerors will head out on the road to face off against the Sonora Raiders at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Los Altos has yet to allow a single goal through four contests this season, a streak Sonora will look to end.

Los Altos' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over West Covina. The win continues a trend for Los Altos in their matchups with West Covina: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Sonora took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against Glenn by a score of 2-0.

Los Altos' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Sonora, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Los Altos beat Sonora by a goal in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
