Baseball Recap: Berry Comes Up Short

Berry came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the South Lamar Stallions by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Myles Woodfin made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Berry: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 1-3 otherwise.

Berry now has a losing record of 3-4. As for South Lamar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
