Basketball Game Preview: Morgantown Mohigans vs. Washington Patriots

The Morgantown Mohigans will take on the Washington Patriots at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Morgantown comes in on three and Washington on four.

Morgantown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down John Marshall 64-49. Given the Mohigans' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Monarchs are ranked 27th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 25, 2024. They were the clear victor by a 46-26 margin over Martinsburg.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Morgantown, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
