Basketball Recap: North Harrison Skates Past Princeton with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when North Harrison faced off against Princeton on Saturday. The North Harrison Cougars took their contest with ease, bagging a 60-33 win over the Princeton Tigers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their 22-point performance the game before.

Princeton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Claire Walden, who posted seven points.

The victory snapped North Harrison's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record. As for Princeton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Harrison will take on Floyd Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vincennes Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. Princeton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.
