Nation’s top team can be seen Thursday via Facebook stream.

High school football's No. 1-ranked team is back in action Thursday as IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) hosts upset-minded No. 28 Edgewater (Orlando, Fla.). The game will be streamed live on Facebook beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

IMG Academy (1-0) opened the season two weeks ago with a 49-13 victory over Venice. The Ascenders raced to a 21-0 lead in the game's first seven minutes and coasted to an easy win behind five touchdown passes from Michigan-bound quarterback J.J. McCarthy.

Playing its season opener, Edgewater will be looking to make a bit of history as IMG Academy hasn't lost to a public school since 2013, when it fell 21-14 to Naples.

Edgewater went 13-2 in 2019, narrowly losing in the Class 7A state championship to perennial power St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale). The Tigers are led by Alabama pledge Christian Leary, a 5-foot-9 wide receiver who accounted for over 1,500 all-purpose yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior.
