Soccer Recap: Edmonds-Woodway Takes a Loss

If Edmonds-Woodway was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Archbishop Murphy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Shorecrest Scots by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Edmonds-Woodway haven't been shut out since back in September.

Edmonds-Woodway's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-3. As for Shorecrest, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edmonds-Woodway will host Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Edmonds-Woodway will need to watch out since Jackson have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Shorecrest, they will be playing at home against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
