After flying high against Bishop Eustace Prep on Monday, Seneca came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles lost 13-4 to the Haddon Heights Garnets on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Madison Heller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Martin, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Haddon Heights, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seneca will venture away from home to take on Camden Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Haddon Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Gloucester City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
