Basketball Recap: Louisville Comes Up Short

Louisville managed to keep up with Johnson County Central until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Louisville Lions had to suffer through a 42-15 loss at the hands of the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Louisville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Johnson County Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Louisville will be home for the holidays to greet Brownell Talbot at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Johnson County Central, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds face off against the Johnson-Brock Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th.
