Softball Recap: California School for the Deaf-Riverside Takes a Loss

The California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs lost 27-12 to the Indian Springs COYOTES on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (11), the Cubs still had to take the loss.

Zoe Beltran-Giudice made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Juliana Diaz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Indian Springs, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-9-1 record.

Coming up, California School for the Deaf-Riverside will head out on the road to face off against Sherman Indian at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indian Springs, they will host Mesa Grande Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
