Dover and Pinkerton are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Dover Green Wave will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pinkerton Astros at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Dover and six for Pinkerton.

Last Friday, Dover was beaten by Keene 64-32. The matchup marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Pinkerton came up short against Portsmouth on Friday and fell 82-71. While losing is never fun, the Astros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Clippers are ranked seventh).

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Pinkerton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Dover strolled past Pinkerton in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 76-58. Will Dover repeat their success, or does Pinkerton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
