St. Anne's-Belfield put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Roanoke Catholic Celtics get on the board and left with a 27-0 victory. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Saints have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

St. Anne's-Belfield was led to victory by Jonah Brent and Rylan Goffe-Lambert. Brent rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while Goffe-Lambert rushed for 115 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries. Brent is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: St. Anne's-Belfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 162 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

St. Anne's-Belfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cai Prinzbach and Nafeese Summers.

St. Anne's-Belfield's record is now 5-0. As for Roanoke Catholic, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, St. Anne's-Belfield is taking a road trip to square off against Blue Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Saints will be up against the Barons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Roanoke Catholic, they will host Montcalm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
