Sasha Walker made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Frattaroli, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Royal Oak made easy work of West Bloomfield on Wednesday and carried off an 18-1 win. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Laila LaGrand was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. LaGrand was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Daniella Bloom, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Rozycki, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
