Baseball Recap: Bothell Cougars vs. Eastlake Wolves

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bothell can now relate to. They fell 5-0 to the Eastlake Wolves on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-6 on April 2nd.

Jarrett Tyler got Bothell off to a strong start despite the final result, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Tyler gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2025.

Bothell dropped their record down to 11-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
