Coronado entered their tilt with Lubbock on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Westerners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Coronado walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 22-16. As for Lubbock, they are on a 26-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-31.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Coronado will face off against rival Tascosa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lubbock is set to square off against their familiar foe Plainview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
