It was a good run, but McNairy Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by the Jackson South Side Hawks 71-41. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 69-29 loss back in February.

Jackson South Side's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaidynn Askins, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Askins is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last 21 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aydison Dilworth, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards.

McNairy Central's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Jackson South Side, the victory was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-2.

As of now, neither McNairy Central nor Jackson South Side have any future games scheduled.
