Volleyball Recap: Crystal Lake Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Crystal Lake Central and Huntley meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.

Sophia Tocmo was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and two assists. Those seven digs gave her a new career-high.

Crystal Lake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
