Volleyball Recap: Cordova Triumphs

The Cordova Blue Devils beat the Phil Campbell Bobcats 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Cordova found their leader in sophomore Lexi Woods, who had four aces and two blocks.

Cordova was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six contests.

Cordova's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Phil Campbell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-17.

Cordova has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hamilton on the 18th. As for Phil Campbell, they will head out on the road to face off against East Lawrence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
