Basketball Game Preview: O'Fallon Panthers vs. Cahokia Comanches

The O'Fallon Panthers will challenge the Cahokia Comanches at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cahokia took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on O'Fallon, who comes in off a win.

O'Fallon took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They slipped by East St. Louis 55-54.

Meanwhile, Cahokia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Carbondale.

O'Fallon's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-21. As for Cahokia, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19.

Everything went O'Fallon's way against Cahokia in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as O'Fallon made off with an 84-61 win. In that contest, O'Fallon amassed a halftime lead of 48-24, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
