After flying high against Augusta on Thursday, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran came back down to earth. The Lancers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Altoona Railroaders on Saturday. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Gabi Radichel paced Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's offense, picking up nine kills. Radichel got some help from Leah Thompson and her ten assists. Emma Starland controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Altoona to victory were Brayln Siverling and Piper Berg. Siverling had 11 digs and two aces, while Berg had 18 assists and four digs. Siverling has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. Greta Hanson also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Altoona, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.
