Football Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spaulding Crimson Tide. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crimson Tide apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Spaulding, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Milton will challenge rival Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Spaulding is set to take on their familiar foe Rice Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
