Basketball Game Preview: Hull-Daisetta Bobcats vs. Chester Yellowjackets

The Hull-Daisetta Bobcats will venture away from home to take on the Chester Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hull-Daisetta challenged High Island on Tuesday. Hull-Daisetta strolled past High Island with points to spare, taking the game 58-41.

Meanwhile, Chester made easy work of Burkeville on Tuesday and carried off a 53-32 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Hull-Daisetta pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Chester, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Hull-Daisetta strolled past Chester when the teams last played back in January by a score of 57-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hull-Daisetta since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
