It was a good run, but Troy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 83-62 to the Oxford Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Wildcats are ranked 15th).

Troy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-10. As for Oxford, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0.

When Troy and Oxford next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Troy will square off against Farmington and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Oxford will try to stop Lake Orion's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
