2A Conference 15 recap September 17, 2013

Kinston lost to Havelock 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

North Lenoir's dynamic duo of Landon Baker and K'haire Dixon proved tough for Southern Wayne to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Baker threw for 82 yards and Dixon had 42 yards receiving.

The Hawks' dynamic duo of Baker and Dixon proved to be unstoppable against the Saints, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Dixon was the best wideout in 2A Conference 15 this week as North Lenoir lost to Southern Wayne.

Rashied Malette was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 143 yards on 20 carries as Goldsboro lost to the Saints. Teammate Rayvonne Barnes added to the ground attack by rushing for 30 yards.

Baker put up the best numbers through the air as the Hawks lost to Southern Wayne.

Malette provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Cougars bested C.B. Aycock. Malette's favorite target this week was Joseph Baker, who caught 3 passes for 42 yards.

Goldsboro led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Golden Falcons. Malette during the win.
