Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Syracuse Titans

The Lone Peak Knights posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Syracuse as Lone Peak made off with a 73-49 win. This was payback for Lone Peak, who suffered a 75-64 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chamberlain Burgess was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-5 from deep and dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Thomsen Kramer was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six assists.

The victory got Lone Peak back to even at 6-6. As for Syracuse, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-6.

Lone Peak will head out on the road to face off against Pleasant Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pleasant Grove's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Syracuse, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Layton at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Layton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Syracuse in Utah (Layton is ranked eighth, while Syracuse is ranked 43rd).
