North Broward Prep's loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

Recap: North Broward Prep Eagles vs. King's Academy Lions

The North Broward Prep Eagles lost against the King's Academy Lions back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. North Broward Prep fell 49-41 to King's Academy. North Broward Prep has not had much luck with King's Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

North Broward Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sammy Edelson, who scored eight points. Makena Longo was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

North Broward Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for King's Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Broward Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Palm Beach Gardens has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games. As for King's Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Westminster Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Westminster Academy is ranked 32nd, while King's Academy is ranked 37th).
