Volleyball Recap: Clarkston Falls Short Against Ranked Bloomfield Hills + How To Watch

Clarkston faced Bloomfield Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Black Hawks. It was the first time this season that the Wolves let down their fans at home.

Clarkston couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Bloomfield Hills a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-30, 25-23, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Clarkston saw an underclassman step up: freshman Stella Smith had 21 digs and two aces.

Clarkston's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Bloomfield Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 33-4.

Clarkston has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mercy on the 18th. As for Bloomfield Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Detroit Country Day on the 21st.
