Baseball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

The Taft Eagles lost 11-2 to the Reavis Rams on Saturday.

Wes Blitz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Taft's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Reavis, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taft will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 20th. As for Reavis, they will challenge Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
