Baseball Recap: Sigourney Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lone Tree

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sigourney). They were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Lone Tree Lions on Tuesday. The Savages might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matches by six runs or more this season.

Sigourney's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Lone Tree, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Sigourney will host Hillcrest Academy on Saturday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Savages surely won't give up without a fight. Lone Tree does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
