If Fredericktown was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Doniphan on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Cats lost 3-0 to the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders on Monday. The Black Cats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Maggie Wood paced Fredericktown's offense, picking up ten kills. Wood got some help from Bristol Rehkop and her 18 assists. Finally, Rehkop was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Fredericktown's loss dropped their record down to 15-17-1. As for Saxony Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-19-1 record this season.
