Recap: Seaman Vikings vs. West Chargers

Seaman took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past the West Chargers 18-3. That's more bragging rights for Seaman, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaelyn O'Rourke spent all three innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Kinsley Smith was incredible, going 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Jersey Jellison, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for West and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Seaman will have a chance to go back-to-back against West: the pair will be back at it again later today.
