Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Durand/Pecatonica). They put the hurt on the Orangeville Broncos with a sharp 14-8 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rivermen as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Durand/Pecatonica's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-14. As for Orangeville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Durand/Pecatonica and Orangeville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings.
