Basketball Recap: Mcallen Extends Winning Streak to Four

McAllen came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Sharyland Rattlers 53-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-46 back in January.

Leading McAllen to victory were D'aundre Canada and Judah Rios. Canada almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Rios went 6-for-13 en route to 18 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Canada's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Nathaniel De Leon was another key player, putting up three points.

McAllen's record now sits at 27-9. As for Sharyland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

As of now, neither McAllen nor Sharyland have any future games scheduled.
