Abington Friends wins going away against Paul Robeson

Abington Friends can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They took down Paul Robeson 66-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Abington Friends also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rakeem Dunston, who scored nine points along with seven assists and three steals. Dunston is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Towns, who scored 12 points.

Abington Friends' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Paul Robeson, they bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Abington Friends will take on George School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paul Robeson, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boys' Latin Charter at 4:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Boys' Latin Charter is ranked 568th, while Paul Robeson is ranked 575th).
