After flying high against Tournament Opponent last Tuesday, Barry County Christian came back down to earth. The Barry County Christian Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakdale Academy on Saturday.
The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 25-16, 25-18.
Barry County Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Avah Lilley, who had five kills and four aces. That's the most aces Lilley has posted in her last 12 contests. Lylah Schultz was another key player, getting two aces.
