Colorado high school football scoreboard: Week 9 CHSAA schedules, scores, stats & more

Several Class 5A league races will come into focus after the conclusion of Week 9. Let's go in numerical league order when looking at this week's top matchups.

In Class 5A League 3, 20th-ranked Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins) and No. 24 Fairview (Boulder) enter this contest 3-0 in league, 7-1 overall. Fairview will rely on the classification's third-leading passer in Rowan Risner, video above, who has thrown for 1,760 yards and 17 TDs.

Three-time defending state champion and top-ranked Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village) and No. 13 Arapahoe (Centennial) both are unbeaten in 5A League 4 play, same for both No. 2 Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch) and No. 8 ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch) when they meet to decide the top spot in 5A League 5.

Also, No. 4 Regis Jesuit (Aurora) is the lone unbeaten in 5A League 6 play, but No. 21 Legend (Parker) could potentially forge a three-way tie with No. 10 Pine Creek (Colorado Springs) with a win against the Raiders.
