Volleyball Recap: Concord Christian Comes Up Short

Concord Christian was the 3-0 winner over Portsmouth Christian Academy when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Kingsmen came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Kingsmen have suffered against the Eagles since October 21, 2022.

Concord Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-17.

Concord Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Concord Christian will square off against rival Franklin at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Portsmouth Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Moultonborough Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
