Basketball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Starts Season with Win Against Brewbaker Tech

Montgomery Catholic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 67-42 margin over the Brewbaker Tech Rams on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Montgomery Catholic was led to victory by Jordan Robinson and Hannah Smith. Robinson almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine steals, while Smith almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was Smith's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajah Tuggle, who posted seven points and 13 boards.

Brewbaker Tech dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
