Benedictine and Trinity Episcopal are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The Cadets will head out on the road to square off against the Titans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Benedictine will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Benedictine is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Woodberry Forest, who was ranked tenth at the time (Benedictine was ranked first). The Cadets' defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. Those seven points were actually the fewest the Cadets have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, Trinity Episcopal earned a 27-14 win over Glen Allen on Friday.

Benedictine's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Trinity Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Benedictine won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, slipping by Trinity Episcopal 29-28. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Titans' Taegan Logan, who threw for 302 yards and two TDs while completing 78.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
