Santa Ynez's Austin Vreeland rumbled for the longest rushing play in Los Padres this season in his game against Santa Maria last week. Vreeland's team beat the Saints as he sprinted for 73 yards on the play and finished with 187 in all.

Tyler Ornelas and Gregory Mitchell provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Templeton. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 63 yards.

Santa Ynez's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brock Dickey threw for 287 and two touchdowns and Spencer Armenta had 146 yards receiving. Vreeland helped Santa Ynez's passing attack out by catching five balls for 67 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Luke Shurtleff and Tommy Saenz Nipomo has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Shurtleff leads the league in passing with 1188 yards, while Saenz has rushed for 825 yards this season. The Eagles' Tobey Isbell leads the league in receiving yards with 397 on 18 catches.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Templeton takes on Cabrillo. As it stands, Dan Loney's team is in second, while the Conquistadores are in third.

Lompoc extended the longest winning streak in Los Padres this week by beating the Eagles, 42-3. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Braves.
