Volleyball Recap: Mountain Crest Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mountain Crest walked away with it. They came out on top against the Highland Rams by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17.

Ella Malm was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 assists and ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Mountain Crest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Mountain Crest has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Mountain Crest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 27th. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
