Lowell has gone a perfect 10-0 against Balboa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Buccaneers at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lowell managed to slip by San Mateo the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals came up short against the Bearcats on Saturday, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lowell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angelo Ornelas-Rafael, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Balboa was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to Lowell.

Balboa's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lowell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Lowell took their victory against Balboa in their previous matchup last Thursday by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
