Basketball Recap: Bethesda Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Iron Academy last Thursday, Bethesda Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Bethesda Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Christopher Mims, Jr. posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Brennaman, who scored ten points.

Bethesda Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Bethesda Christian Academy will challenge Varsity Opponent on Monday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next matchup, a 48-35 loss against Crestmont Christian Prep on the 11th.
