Soccer Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Josey last Thursday, Johnson came back down to earth. The Johnson Panthers lost 7-4 to the Alleluia Community Angels on Tuesday.

Johnson hit Alleluia Community with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayla Kalevela (2), Saniya Mobley, and Monica Portillo.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Alleluia Community, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Johnson and Alleluia Community will shake off the cobwebs and hit the pitch one another at 5:30 p.m. on April 15th. As for Alleluia Community, they will challenge Augusta Prep Day at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
