Softball Recap: Saegertown Panthers vs. Rocky Grove Orioles
After only one run in their last contest, Saegertown made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rocky Grove on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Orioles 10-1. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Hailey Obenrader made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
