Preview: Dayspring Christian Academy Lions vs. Christian Heritage Academy Knights
The Dayspring Christian Academy Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Christian Heritage Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Dayspring Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy.
Meanwhile, Christian Heritage Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Blue Ridge Christian 41-8. While losing is never fun, Christian Heritage Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Blue Ridge Christian is ranked 61st).

Dayspring Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Christian Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Everything came up roses for Dayspring Christian Academy against Christian Heritage Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 49-14 victory.
