Volleyball Recap: Hope Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hope Christian Academy lost against Cedar Key on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Addyson Wilson paced Hope Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Wilson also shared the team's lead in assists with Mackenzie McRaney: they picked up two each. McRaney and Wilson didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Hope Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Cedar Key, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Hope Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Key, they will venture away from home to challenge Trenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
