Soccer Recap: Monarch Takes a Loss

Monarch lost against Olympic Heights back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Monarch Knights fell 2-0 to the Olympic Heights Lions. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Knights haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Monarch's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-3. As for Olympic Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-1 record this season.

Monarch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olympic Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Royal Palm Beach on the 16th.
